Another CodeCon is over! Last week the Old Market Hall opened its doors to more than 1300 developers from all over Slovakia and neighboring countries. It was big, it was intense, with lots of facts, energy and laughter.

A Community of Familiar And New Faces

From the first phone call when Peťo Širka introduced the CodeCon concept to us a few years ago, we knew we were in. We never doubted and today we are part of a huge community of developers that pushes IT to the next level every year.

We always look forward to seeing familiar faces at CodeCon. We exchange a few words, find out what has changed since the last event and exchange valuable advice. But even more, we love to see new faces who are beginning to build a career in the IT world and we can help them with their start.

TITANS Booth Full of Energy

We didn’t want to sit back and wanted to contribute to the world-class level of CodeCon. This year, we were at the TITANS booth ready to advance the careers of brave developers looking to enter the world of freelancing. We offered them projects where they could showcase their IT skills and we answered all sorts of questions.

Code hunting with fancy prizes was prepared for all the participants. They solved tasks in which, besides IT skills, manual ones and common sense were also needed. Some of them struggled, but the three fastest ones who conquered all the challenges took home a glorious Lego.

We also supplied energy in the form of high-quality Slovak chocolate. At our booth, people used Krówki to vote for the most popular programming language of CodeCon participants, which turned out to be JavaScript. Thanks to artificial intelligence, Krówki were disappearing at a fast pace even when it came to Python.

World-class Level of CodeCon

Every year we think CodeCon has reached its peak, and every year we’re wrong. More talks, more technical topics, more speakers, more experiences, tips and advice, more developers, more partners, more energy, more experiences. This is what CodeCon 2023 looked like. It was a highlight and we’re already looking forward to topping it next year.
