TITANS. A name gaining momentum in the world of technology and IT staffing. Let’s have a look at 2015 in numbers. You might expect some, but others may be a big surprise.

In 2015, there was a year-on-year increase in the number of filled jobs in each month and also an overall increase in the number of jobs. In total, there was a 30% increase in jobs per year.

Duration of Projects

Compared to 2014, the average project duration fell from 6.5 months to 6 months in 2015. It was caused mainly by the rapid development of the market and growth of the IT sector. As a result, our clients’ requirements change and there is a need for greater flexibility of freelancer IT specialists.

In 2015, the most favourite jobs among freelancers and the most-filled jobs by TITANS were JAVA and .NET programmers. We filled 43 Java programmers (25% of all filled jobs) and 33 .NET programmers, (20%). These jobs were followed by Web programmers (18 allocations – 11%), system administrators (13 allocations – 8%) and testers or business/ICT analysts (9 allocations – 5%). However, we should also mention DB programmers, BI/DWH specialists, SAP specialists and test managers.

Number of filled jobs

The comparison of 2014 and 2015 shows a major increase in the number of filled jobs in each month. The largest increase took place in July, when the year-on-year difference amounted to 19 jobs, i.e. an increase from four to twenty-three filled jobs. In total, we filled 169 jobs in 2015. It is 65 more jobs than a year before and we want to keep this trend in 2016.

There was also a significant increase in off-site jobs, which are increasingly popular. We filled 22 off-site or home-office jobs in 2015, which is a huge increase compared to 2 such jobs in 2014. This increase results from a greater openness and trust of our customers, who let freelancers work from home more often.

It is expected that the total number of filled jobs will continue to grow as the interest of freelancers in IT jobs keeps growing every year. Whether you have insufficient internal capacities or you are looking for the right IT specialist who meets all of your expectations, TITANS are here for you. We look forward to our next year of great results!
