Last year was very eventful despite the pandemic. Let’s recap the events that made 2021 our most successful year ever.
Last year was a springboard to achieving our goals. In January, we broke our record by filling 36 projects. It was a great kick-off that kept us energised and motivated over the next months.
In May, we broke the record again by filling 57 IT projects in one month.
In April, Sandberg Capital, a private equity company, became our minority shareholder to help us meet our ambitious foreign expansion goals.
And we couldn’t close the year better than by getting a strong ally. In December, we officially teamed up with the Czech Bridgewater team, whose members became great business partners and also friends. We believe that together we will achieve even better results every year.

Although many industries stagnated, IT continued to grow at a record-breaking pace.
Demand for IT freelancers increased by 96% in 2021 and we provided extra muscle for 516 IT projects.
Our project portfolio was really diverse and our TITANS had a lot to choose from.
In 2021, off-site (home office) projects were killing it. Compared to 2020, we allocated three times more off-site positions for a total of 250, and 243 “combo” positions (combination of off-site and on-site projects).
After a slight decline in 2020, the average project duration grew again. It increased to 7.8 months in 2021 (from 7.4 months in 2020).
The pandemic situation has stabilised and clients are not afraid of long-term cooperation.
JAVA used to be the most sought-after position for many years. Last year, nothing changed and we filled 85 Java projects. The second most demanded position was JavaScript Developer (61 projects).
Surprisingly, .NET programmer placed third with 38 filled projects and overtook Tester (33 projects) and Project Manager (26 projects), which dominated in 2020.

Although the pandemic situation was not ideal in 2021, we participated in 2 off-line events. The time spent at Forbes 30 under 30 and SANAE BEER.EX conference gave us hope that the situation is getting better. We hope that we will enjoy more moments like this in 2022.
The year 2021 was significant for our internal team, too. We hired 6 new colleagues and celebrated our eighth birthday. Due to the rapid growth, we reorganised the internal teams and created new roles: Key Account Manager and Business Development Manager.
Last year, we continued the “Score with your CV” online workshop for secondary schools. Our recruitment team encouraged students to enter the labour market and pursue their dreams. Children are our future and we are happy to contribute to their high-quality education.
Mental health has become an equally important topic for us. In 2021, we started to cooperate on the ”Nevyhorení” podcast run by the Forbes magazine. We have contributed to higher awareness of mental health issues and we are glad to be a part of this beautiful project.
The success we celebrated throughout the year kept us on track.
However, we don’t want to rest on our laurels. Therefore, we are entering 2022 with a lot of ambitious goals.
