providing support to first-level end users and solving technical problems
guiding users through the process of solving technical IT problems
obtaining important and specific information by asking questions about the problem
diagnosing problems and, if necessary, directing unresolved issues to the next level of support
end-user support when using PCs, printers, laptops, Microsoft Office and MS Windows and common applications in a Windows environment
responsibility for L1/L2 level support
cooperation possible 80% - 100% ON-SITE [Virton, Belgium]
working days spent in Belgium will be compensated by +45 EUR/ MD to the agreed installment
travel expenses (accommodation, plane tickets) will be covered

Project requirements

min. 2 years of professional experience with end-user support
good knowledge or experience with computers, printers, laptops
experience with
- administration of MS Windows and Office365 and their basic troubleshooting
- access and authorization management (O365/ Active Directory/ Azure Administration)
- by installing VPN clients
- administration of common applications under MS Windows
- remote support ( TeamViewer )
a great advantage of experience with
- by MS Windows Server administration
- by setting up Active Directory and file permission on repositories
- simple settings on Cisco Meraki or a similar device (e.g. changes in VLAN)
- virtual host settings in VMWare (VM check, storage increase, hosts realloc... )
- Veeam backup management
- MS Windows patch management
the ability to correctly diagnose problems and, if necessary, direct unresolved problems to the next level of support (L3)
technical education is an advantage
excellent communication skills and time management
active listening and empathy towards colleagues
ability to solve problems
French at a communication level (both spoken and written)
English at a communication level (both spoken and written)
